We held our first meeting of the year and elected our officers. 


The Board voted to approve repairs to the lobby mirrors that had been damaged earlier in the year. The board heard from John Deburr on the status of completing the licensing process that will allow the building to begin renting apartment 100. He also did some preliminary pricing on the replacement of the concrete curbs around the building's perimeter that edges the gardens and driveway. John also touched on maintenance work that will be needed on the cooling stack and the need to replace the vinyl flooring in the basement which is due for replacement. 

The Board will meet every other month this fall, with the next meeting in October date TBD.  In between official board meetings, the resident assistant committee led by Jamie Vernaelde will meet. Their work will focus on updates and repairs to the laundry room and basement flooring selection. If you are interested in participating, use our contact form to sign up.

We are excited to announce the opening of our brand-new bike room! The space is designed to meet all our cycling enthusiasts' needs, and we couldn't be more proud to share it with you.

 

One of the most notable features of our bike room is the new wall-mounted Steady Racks. These racks save valuable floor space, meaning we can accommodate more bikes in the same space. This is great news for anyone who has struggled to find a place to store their bike. The steady racks are designed to keep your bike secure and upright, so you can rest easy knowing that your beloved bicycle is in good hands.

 

Another great feature of our bike room is the new security door. These doors are designed to keep your bike safe and secure, so you can rest easy knowing that your beloved bicycle is in good hands. To gain entry, you will need to use your key fob. Only registered bike room users will now have access to the room. We will open registration in mid-February for residents to register their bikes and gain access to the room using their fob. This will ensure that only residents have access to the bike room and their bikes are secure. After that date, only registered users will continue to have access to the space. 

 

But the best part of our bike room is its capacity. With room for between 40 and 50 bicycles, there's plenty of space for everyone. Whether you're a daily commuter, a weekend warrior, or just someone who likes to take the occasional leisurely ride, our bike room has you covered.

 

So come and check out our new bike room and see for yourself all of the amazing features it has to offer. We know you'll love it as much as we do! Happy cycling!
